I have to say, I was a little dubious after reading post on forum saying that this website was a scam. However, I dropped them an email and arranged a suitable time and date for me to come into central London for the installation, because I have no clue how to do it.
I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I was met promptly and the installation took less than 10 minutes. Such an amazing service. The product works perfectly and has totally transformed my 2011 golf. Would highly recommend to anyone! Amazing!

I was doing some research on these and realised that these had been replicated (rcd360 or 340). So i came across this website which sell the genuine units. The unit arrived and it was easy to install, literally plug & play. Apple car play is fast and butter smooth, bluetooth connectivity is fast. No issues with it so far. I’ve could shopped around elsewhere for a different aftermarket radio but it was good to know that these were specifically manufactured from VW, So everything works with car very well including the steering wheel controls.

I ordered this stereo as an upgrade for my VW, was looking for something that fitted straight in with minimal fuss. Installation took roughly 10 minutes with a torque screwdriver and a trim remover. The stereo came with all necessary wiring and plugged straight in. On powering up I was able to connect my phone within minutes, android auto cuts in and I have all my apps plus Google maps with a simple press of the touchscreen. It's early days but so far I have had no issues, I would recommend to anyone looking for a modern upgrade to their old unit.

The unit itself is fantastic! Had the original removed and the new one installed in under 10 minutes, all buttons working on my mk6 golf.
My only snag comes from the wireless dongle, where every now and then the connection will drop out of the carplay screen will just go blank - but the BT/radio/aux still functions. 99% of the time though, it is spot on and having it at the back of the unit keeps it looking nice and clean.
The whole ordering process was nice and smooth, had a response to my question within 5 minutes before ordering, and when my shipment was delayed, I had an email from the team to let me know, and to advise that I would be refunded for shipping charges.
Very happy with the service, would buy again if needed.

I bought the bundle with the rear fitted USB so I could hide the bluetooth adapter and it couldn't have been easier to install. The unit works great and is a much needed replacement on the original Passat B7 unit I had with outdated maps and bluetooth connectivity issues.
Comms between the company and me was great. I would highly recommend this for anyone on the fence about buying.

There's loads of conflict on the web (mainly Reddit) about which head unit to buy. Users claiming that .co.uk is a scam and .com is the best place to buy.
The unit was posted and arrived fairly fast, was packaged well. It appeared to have been used (perhaps tested) since there were fingerprints on the screen and some paired devices already saved.
It fitted in my 2011 Golf Plus perfectly and was completely plug & play. Sound quality is great and didn't require much tweaking on the EQ. The screen itself feels a little tacky but is still fine. All buttons/knobs feel excellent quality. And the inbuilt microphone apparently sounds better than my normal phone! Bit annoyed that the radio presets save the frequency and not the radio station name.
I don't even care if this is a "fake" or not. It works fine so far and looks great!

The product is brilliant, well made and a direct swap (as if factory installed on a 2016 Beetle Cabriolet). All of the steering wheel controls work well and there are no visible “errors” or omissions. The only couple of reasons it’s 4 not 5 stars is when saved FM radio stations do not show station name just the frequency (this seems an easy fix because once selected and playing it displays) and the parking sensors a little less slickly integrated. Aside from those two minor issues it’s nearly perfect. Two improvements could be DAB radio and wireless carplay/android auto but I realise this would add extra cost and is not really needed (I think you can pay for a rear mounted USB, which is good if you want to make the wire discrete).

Very happy overall with the unit. Installation was straight forward, and works really well. The support for installation questions was also great and the fast response helped speed up the install. My only regret after a week, is that I should have ordered the unit with the wireless CarPlay as I have a large phone and with the cable it gets quite messy to plug and store.

I have to admit to being a little skeptical about how good this would be but having fitted it I must say it lives up to the claims. A bit of care is needed removing the plastic trim surround but a cheap trim removal tool worked fine. Undo 4 screws, pull the old unit out and disconnect the wiring harness plus another lead (not sure what this one was for) and plug in the new unit. No need for an adaptor-the existing wiring harness connects directly to the new unit. Everything worked as it should-easy to connect a phone and the multi function steering wheel worked as before. I'm really impressed and pleased with this unit I have to say. For info I have a 2011 Mk6 Golf 1.6 TDi

The order took a while as stocks were due to come in (as advertised) and after helpful advice on cables needed for my car it was an easy install (30 mins - the first time I’ve done this sort of thing) and it works really well. Delighted to have Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth in my 16 year old Golf Plus! Safer and easier for navigation and music.

Steering wheel controls and reverse sensors still work as expected and really was plug and play and if you want dab still just use a radio app from the App Store.

Fitted to 2017 Scirocco. Stereo works great, except sometimes I have to turn it off then on again to get it to play. Main concern is the lack of fitting instructions - the existing harness had three wires that had nowhere to go on the RCD330. I couldn’t find anything online about what they were for, so I just plugged in what I could. Everything seems to work fine so I’m not concerned, but since I have no idea what these wires do I can’t say for sure.

Really impressed with the headunit after a week of use in my caddy. Genuinely plug and play in the place of the original caddy headunit, all steering wheel functionality works as before.
Highly recommend getting the additional rear USB port for the carplay/android auto dongle. It keeps the dash nice and clean and connects immediately. Only slight improvement I would say is to get just some basic connection instructions. As it doesn't have any with it, it's not immediately obvious which device to connect to as it doesn't give you a name to look for if there's various other Bluetooth devices around. Again this is just a small thing but after you've connected once, it instantly connects each start up.
One bonus is the addition of the graphical parking sensors. I wasn't sure if this would work on my model as I had no visual readout before, (wasn't bothered if it did or didnt) but really happy that it does now show on the screen!

Fitted straight into my 2012 Touran in less than 10 minutes. Worked straight away with the proper OEM look rather than something that looks cheap and doesn’t really work as well as losing the cars functionality.
Works well with the parking sensors, the old head had the visible parking sensors come up on the display and this does also. CarPlay works great also.
I got the fitting kit, also well worth it if you don’t have the little tool to take the trim off. Much easier than trying to us a screwdriver and much less likely to break it.

Initially unit seemed to function ok apart from the occasional disconnect. However unit has become so inconsistent in connectivity and also accessing/playing media from other sources (SD/USB) it is very intermittent. There is also noticeable a crackle that occurs on startup, not all the time but similar to when you have to clear "dust on volume control". I have since checked cabling for any loose connections. I have also performed several "resets" factory & others contained within the menu. Yesterday the unit became totally inoperable whereby there was no audio from all sources other than the radio !!. I had to stop the car to try and to reconnect....no joy !! It eventually came to life when iphone was plugged into the USB 12v although this has never been required previously. On reflection when I first installed the unit back in November 24 and tried to pair the one and only device/phone there were a number of other android devices previously listed which immediately raised suspicion ??. I would appreciate a response to this in order to find a suitable resolution....Kind Regards Brian

Very quick and easy to fit (once I'd taken out all the excess wiring from the old unit), just plugged it in and worked perfectly. It detected the rear parking sensors and connected with my phone without any issues. It was a couple of days late in arriving but as soon as I asked for a delivery date, it was delivered next day. The only thing that lets it down is the there is no colour or icon to radio station identifier or name of track playing on a radio station on AM or FM but you do when using android auto which is what I would expect. Overall well worth the price.

My original VW (t6 2016) head unit stopped working. This along with the adapter provided a simple and less expensive solution than Kenwood/pioneer etc. Parking sensors, steering wheel controls works the same, just no DAB and the dash/glovebox usb is now redundant. Got very quick answer to questions prior to buying. Would recommend for anyone in similar situation.

This has transformed by 09 plate Golf! The design of the golf is timeless, except for the stereo/head unit which has aged really poorly. However, the ease of plug and play and now I have carplay! I do slightly regret not getting the rear USB option. However, a little right angle USB adapter off amazon for a few quid has the dongle sitting flush at the front. Connects within seconds of turning the car on too.
Something to bear in mind: The resolution isn't crisp. But consider the age of these screens and the time they were designed for. If you want HD graphics maybe consider something else. But after a day or so you don't really notice it.

Excellent product, was a bit unsure whether to buy it or not, after previously buying an Android unit which was complete waste of money, but this unit was worth every penny, just as good as the pioneer/kenwood CarPlay units but at a fraction of the price. Doesn’t have DAB, but that doesn’t bother me as I use the myTuner Radio app (App works with carplay), and has loads of stations on it.

Installed RDC330 head unit into my daughters Mk5 Polo in about 20 minutes. Communication with seller to clarify the purpose of the supplied cables was quick and efficient. Also bought the Wired to Wireless CarPlay USB Adapter and Rear USB Slot Modification to give a seamless operation. Smartphone connects within seconds and Apple Car Play works perfectly. Daughter is super pleased with the unit and she can now have Google maps on a 6.5-inch Touchscreen Display rather than having to use her phone on a Air vent mount. Receiving and making phone calls work perfectly along with streaming music through Spotify. Would highly recommend this unit.

Installed my RCD330 today and my god, what a difference it’s made in looks and simple luxuries of the car. While keeping the OEM radio look, but doing all the more. At first, I was put off with reading up on various forums that it simply wouldn’t work with a MK6 GTI (Golf) that has the dynaudio pack. After questioning the guys at RCD330, giving them the spec and details of the car, they were confidently able to tell me that it would work and explained the only ones that don’t work are the knock off ones!! With this knowledge from someone whose profession it is, it put me at ease so I ordered it. Delivery was swift, instillation was quick and as the guys said at RCD330, no issues at all. Didn’t even need to unplug the battery! Would highly recommend these as their attention to detail and simple customer service is absolutely outstanding. If I could rate more than 5* I definitely would. Truly amazing service, thank you so much! :)

My friend has a MK6 Golf GTI with dynaudio. Now in the past having heard that these head units do not work with this system, it did put us off. However up on communicating with the customer service. They assured me this product will work fine with the dynaudio and told us any extra steps we can take to ensure it will work. (We didn’t need the extra steps). We ordered it, straight swap plug and play and it works perfectly. Got the Rear USB mod too and a CarPlay adapter, everything works seamlessly.

The unit itself is brilliant and works great, however ended up needing an rgb-rca adapter for my reverse camera which I wasn't told before so that was a let down for me, since I had to have the unit taken out again and put back in by my mechanic and charged twice. Also no DAB so have an extra cable lying in the back. Apart from that it's a great upgrade from the old one

I have a 2010 Vw t5 and was replacing a RNS315 so it fitted the existing connections. I purchased head unit with rear usb and wireless car play adaptor for iPhone so no unsightly wires.
Fitted perfectly, switched on and recognised my phone right away and works perfectly as pics show, no issues at all , throughly satisfied , don’t hesitate to buy!
It would be great if the radio was DAB but you can access all radio stations via the car play apps as the standard radio is quite basic but I knew this before I purchased it !

Great product. 15mins to fit into my VW T5.1 Transporter. You need a Torx T20 and a trim tool (although a plastic picnic knife would probably work just as well!). Easy to pop out the blue plug (with a jewellers screwdriver) from the main connector block and replace it with the supplied video cable adaptor for an aftermarket rear view camera, which I think needs to be NTSC format but mine hasn’t arrived yet so can’t confirm this. (Probably won’t work with a VW fitted camera if this is RGB format).
Several YouTube videos show how to remove trim and existing Head Unit.
The RCD330 touch screen is instant and set up is a breeze. My phone connected via Bluetooth at the first attempt, which is unusual! (hint- change the Bluetooth name of the RCD330 from “VW Radio” to whatever you prefer BEFORE connecting a phone). Apple car play does everything you expect. Brilliant product. Why didn’t VW fit it from the outset is baffling. The only downside is that radio presets only show the frequency, not the station name, but I’ll get over it.
